Mobile technology firm Yospace is launching a new service that enables users to post web log, or blog, entries from their mobile phones. David Springall, CTO and founder of Yospace, said: “MMS has yet to reach its full potential. Users need a compelling reason to start sending MMS and blogging is this year’s new media phenomenon.” The service is one of a series of new “MMS to Internet” offerings that Yospace is launching. The firm is also launching a service that allows advertisers to create promotional websites where mobile users submit picture or video messages to compete in competitions.

It seems like everytime I turn around some other Newton freak has figured out a way to keep these devices current. Wired is running a story about Mike Manzano, a blogger who is using a Newton PDA as his main input source. |
