If you're not moblogging yet - you may want to start. Pigeon Blog first featured at the Inter Society for Electronic Arts aims is already outfitting birds with small cellphone like devices which will monitor the air quality and pollution levels in whatever area they happen to be flying in. Not only is this a first for "avian blogs" it could develop into a real time atmospheric monitoring solution for individual users. Are you moblogging yet, the pigeons already are:) |

A very important aspect of technology is the ability to modify it to ones needs - just look at all the cell phone coves,faceplates and the whole accessories industry that stems from this. However, for PDA's this is not always the case. That said, I'm glad I stopped by the SPUG forums, where a user has been modding his Treo 650 by hacking it with a shorter antenna. See the pictures below and I think you'll agree - it does look gorgeous. |

Nice article for those looking to get into moblogging. With all the choices out there, it's easy to get a trifle overwhelmed. Should one go with a PDA or mobile? What about Symbian vs the Palm OS? This is a well thought out list of the minimim requirements for a good mobile blogging device? Reading it over a few times I agreed with most of it except unlike the author, I am more partial to the Symbian OS. |

An annual fee of £24 comes with 10GB of storage, unlimited written blogs and the service is mobile friendly. |

Following last weeks terror related railway bombings in Mumbai the Indian government and DoT blocked access to several blogging sites posting pictures and commentary on the events. Claiming the sites were expressing "anti national" sentiment and content "against public interest, " several sites including some affiliated with Google were unavailable. Such a move is rare for India. |

Ever heard the myth about not using your cell phone at a gas station as it may constitute a fire hazard? Well, if this video recently posted on YouTube bears scrutiny, it appears that static discharge from a womans cellphone did just that. Generally regarded as an urban myth, personally, I think the connection between petrol fumes and static electricity are pretty scientifically known and accepted. |
