Current Mood - Hungry
Current Music - The Art Of Trance!
Then just answer this kes-chin correctly:
Varvara Kashevarova-Rudneva
Who was she? Why is she famous? And why you should care?
Meanwhile, I'm off to Mrs. Winners for some biscuits and gravy and then Athens for the day.

Mood - Drunk
Music - Art Of Noise - D n B Mixes
Ah the preparty for the "great nawlins w/end." That's right - all my
guy friends (or at least eight of them) are heading down to the bayou
for some insanity and fried fish aka bachelor party from hell nice legs
bitch now go and tell your mama about that kind of jazz in the white
van (but only if she brings a friend) kind of thing - which I am
missing due to Sara's college graduation...
Joining the great rum inspired conversations I am now an expert on:
*gold plated walls in some UAE airport *the untapped market for Zulu porn *how to get free McDonalds in Fulton County jail *being attracted to your girlfriends mother while dating the sister *fun overpasses for every potential suicide list *alexander the greats tombstone inspired shower curtains *why high rollerz never let the ball drop *the "don't touch me" syndrome from Norway and last but not least - hookers and hookahs...
Which
is when I decided to save my rep and bail out. Hopefully at least two
of them will be somewhat sober by morning... or it will be a real
interesting drive... |

Thanks to justinvisible I rode the Jaeger rocket successfully THREE
times at amyzon2313's pool party last night. Twas the invisible man
with his advice about "holding on" with both hands and "breathing"
through only one nostril that made this possible. Therefore, I would
like to credit the master! He may think that people don't heed his
advice but they do and it works:)
BTW/ How is James...
Cool
Very Cool

Mood - Restless
Music -Birds Chirping Outside My Window
Christi- Nice
chill party - She's the first person I met when I moved to ATL so I've
known her for a while. She just got engaged so yayyyyyy!
Alan/Tiff'ny- Good
to see all my CNN'ers again esp - Amy, Gary and Kelly! You
"overnighters" are a riot! But please no more info on the "secret"
Turner porn boards...
It's 6:45 and I have no idea what to do
next. I think I'm going to make myself a large omelette and try to get
a head start on today's calories. I fell short by almost 700 yesterday
(guess I missed a meal) and that was not good. Although I hold the
"elves" in great esteem - personally, I'm not for the whole "FADING"
concept.

Mood - Mellow
Music - New Order - Technique
More on my buddy Walter (on the far right of this image). Possibly one
of the most energetic, hard working and smooth talking brothers out
there he is testament to what a little determination and consistency
can get you in life. When I met him he was coaching soccer
professionaly - he got bored with his "tan" and got a pilots licence
hoping to join the air force. Flying over some restricted airspaces and
insulting the FAA controllers ended that chapter. At a loss for what to
do next, he took the MCAT's and starts medical school next week on a
FULL SCHOLARSHIP. As of last night he still wasn't sure what to do next
- plastic surgery or proctology. Either way he'll be around breasts and
asses which is really what he loves most! Last night featured drinks at
the Vortex and Sundial Lounge both located in downtown Atlanta.
We'll miss him but he's headed for greater and better things!
Best luck in med school!

Current Mood - Numb
Current Music - BT - ESCM
Alright,
This w/end like all
others really began on Thrusday. It was my dad's b'day - totally
spoiled by the fact that I called him lazy, told him he drank too much
and also that my mother was seriously comtemplating moving out and
leaving him - and we had dinner at PV.
My grandmother and my aunt Marian are also in town so that was cool.
She (aunt) is organziing an exhibition at the Smithsonian for her
collection of antique maps which was recently featured at SOAS.
I also learnt that my cousin and "former" best friend finally reached
his limit and carted eight years of music and records along with
drawing and illustrations to the local dump. So that just might be the
end of DJ Z. She wants me to spend a few weeks with him in Clapham
London and bring him back to reality and I was like - right me... the
sane one. Had drinks at Manuels after that (bad idea).
Friday
I got off work and met up with Mary at the ESL. Some nice Indian tunez
but I'm so critical off all music and elitest to the point where if I
don't know the song or the remix then I don't even bother listening to
it. As if was, the DJ's acting entirely too animated for the tempo of
the music so left early and chilled out in Decatur for a few hours. But I did get this good picture though. Most of Saturday was a blur...
Saturday
night I ended up at ESL again. Ran into (among others) Ryan, Josh,
Richard, Alta and the "effie" crew. Only one Guinness later we ended up
at the Clairmont Lounge. I'd forgotten how much off a blast that place
is. With approx one security guard per patron, non functioning air
conditioning, the usual collection of aged strippers and some people
pulling air moves in clothes not designed for air moves - it was the
best time I've all all month. I mean, how could you not love the
Clairmont:) I experienced severe dehydration, had my arm almost dragged
into a large attic fan, and watched some guy try to do a cart wheel to
the background off superstar funk!
Sunday I was really hurting. Drank three cups of tea, ate a garlic nan from Madras
and still slept for an hour and a half in the back office after
quitting time because I decided it was too dangerous for me to be out
on the open roads...I don't say this much, but I'm exhausted... Still I
found time to post the most useless gadget off the week award for you'll:) |

Alright! That's three years in a row I've won the prestigious "last
man standing" award from the CRUNK chapter of the SouthSide High
Rollers club. True I was leaning against the wall but it was 830 AM and
I did have a full 16oz rum and coke in hand... so thanks again! Same
time, same place next year. And this time give me some serious
competition will ya. Thanks to Amy, Andy and Master M for their
respective cookouts and pool parties. |
