WordPress is by far the most popular personal blogging system in use today and Postie extends its mobile blogging capabilities. Originally developed by John Blade and extended by EcononySizedGeek  this plugin allows updating to your WordPress blog via e-mail or any mobile device that supports IMAP/POP3 protocols. It seems to be a favorite among the dozen or so WordPress moblogging options so I've added it to our downloads section.

It supports images and other attachements. It can handle all sorts of mobile devices and support POP3,POP3-SSL,IMAP,IMAP-SSL. It can resize images on the fly and do other nice things for you.
