Irish mobile software provider Newbay has acquired Inamobile LTD - a UK handset application developer specializing in image uploads and viewing applications for Java Symbian and BREW platforms. The move enhances NewBay's offerings and attracts mobile operators to its customer base. The PIXOTA client allows single click photo upload potentially increasing picture messaging usage by 20X and uses HTTP vs MMS protocols allowing for increased image quality.
