Saw this on Textually.org and it's posted here for viewing pleasure only! Phonies are cell phone mascots created by Frank Skyes. Essentially a stuffed animal glued to your phone, it helped his sister distinguish her "real" mobile from all the toys her kids spread across the house.  People commented on the new accessory so the "phonie" was born! Textually filed this under "silly" and we don't even have a category for it so enjoy! A phone accessory for ultra trendy bloggers perhaps.
