Comeks is a S60 Symbian application by Arto Viitanen allowing you to create comic strips with your mobile. Flickr upload capability  adds easy content sharing in a novel way. Simply use an existing image or snap one with your cameraphone, then use the software to add frames captions and other enhancements to produce some fun results. Comeks was featured at the recent Mobile Monday Global Summit.

The S60 blogs has a good writeup on this application including ease of use and conversations with the developer. It's heartening to see the Flickr uploads as this should bode well for the applications adoption given that  lack of widespread usage and limited mass appeal cripples most independanty created open source mobile software. Dan Applequist  also seemed to appreciate the applications ease of usage given the small screen and only a 4 way rocker switch for navigation.

Comeks does approach mobile image editing and presentation in a refreshing way. From enhanceing your images to creative art projects this is a great addition to the vibrant Symbian community. Early adopters seem to love it for good reason.
