Here are some leaked pictues of Cingular's upcoming Treo Nitro smartphone. Engadget first started the rumor about the new Nitro and Lennon PDA's slated for release this October. With UMTS and Class 10 EDGE connectivity and a 1.3 mega pixel camera as well as a shortened or even non existent external antenna, the Nitro is making Palm OS fans across the world salivate with anticipation. So enjoy!
As our post last week showed, a shorted antenna is a current favorite among Treo hardware modding so this will be welcomed by many users. PalmInfoCenter also mentions 64 MD of intenal memory which can be increased via SD slot, a general keyboard layout resembling the current best selling 700 series with the Palm Garnet OS running in the background. Impressive, especially if is IS released at under $300 US. Right now, Palm needs all the help it can against Blackberry and Nokia.
