Ever wondered how your website looks when viewed over a PDA. This handy WAP emulator for T-Mobiles MDA/SDA smartphones lets you preview any website without having to own a Sidekick or Treo. The page also serves as a marketing tool for their "web and walk" mobile internet service and the MDA smartphone, first launched in the UK in late 2005. Go ahead - try it out!
It really does offer realistic browsing although most of the sites I accessed as a trial did not fit within the screen size at all. Can any "real" MDA/PDA users out there compare what one sees here with their own experiences? Either way, this is a great tool for mobile bloggers - allowing them to actually browse the web vs simply interfacing with their blogging program and uploading content. You can also find a great T-Mobile MDA smartphone review via MobileTechReview here. If you view the IFRAME link you'll see it leads to Yospace a company that made great headway last year with its mobile services platform most recently highlighted by the wonderful See Me TV service. |
